These Terms of Service govern your use of Coach LMS. By using our platform, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Welcome to Coach LMS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Learning Management System platform. By registering, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using any feature of Coach LMS, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Coach LMS.

2. User Accounts and Registration

2.1 Account Creation

To use Coach LMS, you must:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)

2.2 User Roles

Coach LMS has three types of user accounts:

  • Student: Can enroll in courses, access learning materials, take quizzes, and download certificates
  • Mentor: Can create, edit, and manage courses. Courses require admin approval before publication
  • Admin: Has full system access to manage users, courses, payments, and platform settings

2.3 Account Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
  • Use another user's account without permission
  • Transfer your account to another person

3. Course Enrollment and Access

3.1 Enrollment Process

Courses may be:

  • Free: Available for immediate enrollment at no cost
  • Paid: Require payment through Stripe or PayPal before access is granted

Upon successful enrollment, you gain access to course materials, lessons, and quizzes as specified by the Mentor.

3.2 Access Rights

Your enrollment grants you:

  • Personal, non-transferable access to course content
  • Lifetime access (unless otherwise specified by the Mentor)
  • Right to download course materials (if permitted by Mentor)
  • Access to quizzes and certificate generation upon completion

Restrictions: You may not share, redistribute, or resell course content. Access is personal and non-commercial.

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1 Payment Terms

For paid courses:

  • All prices are displayed in the platform's default currency
  • Payment must be completed before course access is granted
  • We accept payments through Stripe, PayPal, and Razorpay.
  • All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes

5. Mentor Responsibilities

5.1 Course Creation

Mentors agree to:

  • Create original, accurate, and valuable course content
  • Obtain necessary permissions for any third-party content used
  • Submit courses for admin approval before publication
  • Maintain course quality and update content as needed
  • Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner

5.2 Earnings and Payouts

Mentors understand that:

  • Earnings are calculated based on course sales and platform commission
  • Payouts are processed manually upon withdrawal request
  • Coach LMS may deduct applicable fees and commissions
  • Tax obligations are the responsibility of the Mentor

6. Certificates and Quizzes

6.1 Quiz Completion

Quizzes are designed to assess your understanding:

  • You must complete all required lessons before taking quizzes
  • Quiz results are automatically graded
  • Retake policies are set by the individual mentor.
  • Cheating or attempting to manipulate quiz results is prohibited

6.2 Certificate Issuance

Certificates are issued when:

  • All course lessons are completed
  • Required quizzes are passed (if applicable)
  • All course requirements are met

Certificates are provided in PDF format and can be downloaded from your student dashboard. Certificates are for personal use and may not be used for false credentials.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Platform Content

All content on Coach LMS, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and platform design, is the property of Coach LMS or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Course Content

Course content is owned by the respective Mentor. By enrolling in a course, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • Access course materials for personal, non-commercial use
  • Download materials only if permitted by the Mentor

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or share course content with others.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Spam, phish, or engage in fraudulent activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
  • Interfere with platform operations or security
  • Share account credentials or course content
  • Use automated systems to access the platform

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

Coach LMS is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

9.2 Course Quality

We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of Course content created by mentors. Course content reflects the views and expertise of individual Mentor, not Coach LMS.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coach LMS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked, and your account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights
  • Harm other users or the platform

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

  • Email notification to registered users
  • Notice on the platform
  • Updated "Last Updated" date

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
